NO LATE BUSES
Homework Club will be meeting in Room 303 with Mr. McCulloch on Thursdays afterschool.
All grades are welcome.

The first Adventure Club trip will be a guided Kayak tour of the Weir River Estuary on Tuesday, September 28th. Permission slips can be found on the Adventure Club Google Classroom using code 3yvxsmu.   All Grades Welcome!  Please see Ms. Miller or Mrs. Giordani with any questions.

On Tuesday, October 5th the World Language Club will visit Vida Mexicana,  for an authentic Mexican meal.  We will meet right after school in room 100 and walk to the restaurant.
The cost of the excursion is $20.00 per person and includes a guacamole presentation and a meal.
Permission slips can be picked up in Sra. Gonzalez' room 100 or Sra. Fossi's room 211.
Please return your permission slip and money by Friday, October 1st

Basketball Intramurals start tomorrow after school.  See Mr. Tiews in Room 310 to sign up.

Intramural Archery on Tuesdays. Those interested need to sign up on Tuesday mornings . The sign up sheet is posted on the fitness room door, outside the Gym. Only 20 spots are available. No experience is needed.  Open to all grades. If you have any questions see Mrs. O'Donnell.

HMS Fitness Room Intramurals on Mondays and Tuesdays at 2PM.  Sign up outside the fitness room the morning of.  First 20 kids.  Please wear Gym attire.  See Mr. Callahan with any questions.  
Have you ever wanted to help an endangered animal?
Well, here is your chance!  Hingham Middle School participates in a program that raises a species of endangered freshwater turtles each year from September until May. 
If you are interested in helping this year, please come to the informational meeting on Monday October 4th in room 305.   You will learn about the turtles, and how you can help care for them.

Day 4
Don’t forget on Monday the sixth grade soccer tournament will begin after school. All three
sixth grade teams (Vikings, Romans, and Greeks) will compete. Every student will be assigned
one soccer team to participate with. Team assignments will be given in Science class. There is
one game played per day. Games will be played outdoors weather permitting.
The first set of games next week are:
Monday 9-20 Vikings 1 vs. Greeks 1.
Tuesday 9-21 Romans 1 vs. Vikings 2
Thursday 9-23 Greeks 2 vs. Romans 2
Friday 9-24 Vikings 3 vs. Greeks 3
All sixth grade students are encouraged to participate and have fun!

school. Auditions will be over in time for the late bus. The signup sheet is on Mr. Landis’s door
(Room 125). When you sign up, please come in and take music for the audition as well.
Auditions are for any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader enrolled in a music class (band, orchestra, or
chorus).
