“I am so grateful and excited for this opportunity to embark on this new adventure. I am excited to meet new people from around the country and beyond and to bond over common interests with them. I look forward to this program because History has always been the subject that has ignited a spark in me, and through this experience, I hope to bring new skills, friends, and memories into the next exciting chapter of my life. Thank you METCO and the NHA for this opportunity.“ — Toni
“This summer, I’m looking forward to learning more about the country I reside in, as well as establishing a sense of community with new people. Traveling is being able to open my mind and I feel like this experience will do that tenfold, allowing me and my peers to develop interpersonal skills to prepare for college and the real world.” — Daniel
