The Hingham High School Unified Sports program has received the National Banner recognition for meeting/achieving national standards of excellence in the areas of inclusionadvocacy and respect

The notification from Patti Doherty, Vice President of Schools and Community Development for Special Olympics of Massachusetts, noted that the athletes, partners, students, coaches, volunteers, teachers, staff and administration at Hingham have all played key roles in creating a social climate where everyone feels included and respected for who they are. 

Hingham High School was one of only fifteen schools in Massachusetts and among 155 schools nationwide to achieve this status for the 2019-2020 school year.
