Audience comments are always welcome as agenda items are discussed.  In addition, the School Committee has set aside fifteen minutes on this Agenda to enable members of the audience to raise questions and make comments on any other matter of general concern.  To facilitate this     process, interested speakers are asked to provide the Superintendent or School Committee Chair with the nature of the question/comment, in writing, prior to the start of the meeting.

6.    New Business.

6.1    To review the process for the annual election of School Committee officers, scheduled for May 6, 2013.

6.2    To receive information about the process for subcommittee and liaison assignments for 2013-2014.

6.3    To hear an update on the bidding process for the High School Fields Project.

6.4    To receive a draft of the school calendar for 2013-2014 to be acted on at the May 6th School Committee meeting.

6.5    To receive notification of the resignation for the purpose of retirement of Barbara Connearney, a grade 2 teacher a Foster School, effective June 30, 2013.

6.6    To receive notification of the resignation for the purpose of retirement of Diane Pisinski,  grade 6 math teacher at Hingham Middle School, effective June 30, 2013.

6.7    To receive notification of the resignation of Luke Dodge, a physical education teacher at Plymouth River School, effective June 30, 2013.

7.    Other items as may not reasonably be known 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
