Audience comments are always welcome as agenda items are discussed.  In addition, the School Committee has set aside fifteen minutes on this Agenda to enable members of the audience to raise questions and make comments on any other matter of general concern.  To facilitate this process, interested speakers are asked to provide the Superintendent or School Committee Chair with the nature of the question/comment, in writing, prior to the start of the meeting.

6.    New Business.

6.1    To hear an update on the status of the private fundraising activities for the High School fields.

6.2    To act on acceptance of donations as per Policy 1.7, Procedures 1.7A #1, 2, 3, 5, 1.7B, and 1.7C.

6.3    To review a Proposed Budget for the High School Fields Project.

6.4    To discuss strategies for ensuring alignment between the proposed budget and the available funding.

6.5    To discuss next steps, and/or any actions related to, the award of bids, final budget acceptance, and the proposed funding plan.

6.6    To review the Community Preservation Act Grant Agreement and authorize the Chair to sign it.

6.7    To receive information regarding an overnight field trip of four students in grades 10 and 12 to World Challenge, Peru June 25-July 8, 2013.

6.8    To receive notification of the resignation of Katherine Brown, an art teacher at Plymouth River School, effective June 30, 2013.

6.9    To receive notification of the resignation of Megan Mahoney-Palmer, a paraeducator at Hingham Middle School, effective April 26, 2013.

6.10    To receive notification of the resignation of Elizabeth McInnes, a speech-language pathologist at South School, effective June 30, 2013.

7.    Other items as may not reasonably be known 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
