KIDS IN ACTION

The Kids in Action After-School Program for grades K-5 was created in 1986 and has since grown to include a Traditional Pre-Kindergarten, Spanish Immersion Pre-Kindergarten, Pre-K Extended Day Program, Before School program for grades K-5, and an After School Strings Program for grades 3 & 4. Each child’s out of school time is enhanced through choice based and enriching activities, encouraging personal responsibility and independence. Sportsmanship, tolerance and acceptance are promoted through cooperative and recreational activities encouraging participation and team work.

• EAST SCHOOL:
  • Before School K-5 for East & Foster students (will be only East K-5 in Sept. 2023).
  • Traditional Pre-K
  • Beginning in September 2023: Pre-K Extended Day
  • Beginning in September 2023: After School at East for Students K-5
    • Existing KIA Family Re-enrollment: May 8, 2023 (before & after school)
    • New to KIA Family Enrollment: May 15, 2023 (before & after school)
• FOSTER SCHOOL:
  • After School 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade (will change to K-5 in 2023)
  • Beginning in September 2023: Spanish Immersion Pre-K Pilot
  • Beginning in September 2023: Pre-K Extended Day
  • Beginning in September 2023: Before School for Foster students K-5.
  • Beginning in September 2023: After School for Foster School Students K-5 (After School KIA @ Foster School is currently full. If you enroll your child now, they will be placed on a waitlist in the order we receive their enrollment forms.)
    • Existing KIA Family Re-enrollment: May 8, 2023
    • New to KIA Family Enrollment: May 15, 2023
• PLYMOUTH RIVER:
  • After School Kindergarten (will change to K-5 in 2023)
  • Beginning in September 2023: Before School for PRS students K-5
  • Beginning in September 2023: After School for PRS Students K-5 (After School KIA @ PRS School is currently full. If you enroll your child now, they will be placed on a waitlist in the order we receive their enrollment forms.)
